On June 20th, our Tenth Annual IASPM Benelux Student Conference – Research In Popular Music took place at Radboud University. Organized by a team of students under the leadership of our student board member Farijn Janssen, with an inspiring keynote by Justin Patch, it was a great day for learning about emerging avenues of popular music research in the Benelux region. We thank the organizers, the keynote speaker, the speakers, and the host institution for making it a great success!
During the conference, an award ceremony for the Popular Music Benelux Thesis Prize 2024 (in collaboration with Buma Music Academy) took place.
Our heartfelt congratulations go to:
Richard-Josephine Weichert, the BA thesis prize winner 2024
Maan Goedhart, the MA thesis prize winner 2024
And Koen Gijsman, the MA honorable mention 2024
Until the next conference!
